While it's Happening
A sweep doesn't land in one print — it tears across exchanges over hundreds of milliseconds. optionHack reads it mid-flight: an EARLY alert while the order is still filling, then the FINAL tally when the last print lands. Everyone else tells you what happened. We tell you what's happening.
Spreads, named.
Not just “complex”.
Most tools lump every multi-leg print into one bucket and give you a single switch to hide it — which also hides the readable trades. optionHack separates them. A two-leg package is identified by structure and labelled for what it is: VERTICAL, STRADDLE, CALENDAR. Filter the messy multi-leg noise and keep the clean spreads, because they are two different things.
Greeks on every alert.
Priced at the print.
We stream the underlying alongside the options tape, so implied volatility and the Greeks are solved against the stock price at the instant of the trade — not the day's close. Delta tells you whether 50,000 contracts is a lottery ticket or stock exposure in disguise. Hedge impact converts it into the shares a market maker has to trade to stay neutral.
Dealer exposure.
GEX and DEX, per name.
Market makers are on the other side of most of this flow, and they hedge. Gamma exposure says how much stock they are forced to trade for every 1% the underlying moves — and which way. Positive, their hedging damps the move. Negative, it feeds it. We aggregate it per underlying from the same Greeks on your alerts, using open interest corrected for today's volume rather than yesterday's stale number.
Dark Pool.
The block behind the flow.
Roughly half of all US equity volume never touches a lit exchange. optionHack streams the off-exchange tape alongside the options feed and surfaces the large blocks — size, price, notional, the reporting venue. Then it ties them together: when an option alert fires in a name that just had a $40M block cross, the alert says so. Options themselves never trade in the dark — every contract prints to an exchange — so nobody can tell you a call sweep was a dark pool trade. What they can tell you is that both happened in the same name four minutes apart, and that is the part worth seeing.

Calls / Puts
Alert on calls, puts, or both.
Buys / Sells
Aggressor side from each print's own quote — take only the buyers, only the sellers, or both.
Minimum / Maximum Size
Your contract floor — and a ceiling, if you want the whales filtered out too.
Premium
Total dollars on the trade, not just contract count. A floor, a ceiling, or both.
Days to Expiration
A window from 0dte lottos out to LEAPS. You set both ends.
Strike & Open Interest
Bound the strike range, and require open interest above or below your line.
Volume > Open Interest
Require day volume or event size above prior-day OI — opening flow, not closing.
Spreads
Named two-leg structures kept or dropped on their own switch, independent of complex.
Complex Orders
The ragged multi-leg rest. Allow them through or screen them out.
Legs
Minimum and maximum distinct contracts in a package — outrights only, or verticals and up.
Tape Position
Above ask, at ask, near the mid, at bid. Take only the aggressive fills if that is your read.
Exchanges
How many venues a sweep crossed — a floor, a ceiling, or multi-exchange only.
Sweep Stage
Early snapshots while an order is still filling, the final tally, or both.
Time of Day
An open and close for your own session. Nothing outside it reaches you.
Ex-Dividend
Drop anything whose underlying goes ex-dividend inside your window.
Underlying Types
Common stock, ETFs, ADRs, the Mag 7 — whole categories on or off with one switch.
Dark Pool
Off-exchange blocks in your names, with a dollar floor so only the ones that matter reach you.
Ignore List
Mute any symbol you never want to hear about again.
